Have More Questions?

Therapy is a confidential, collaborative process where you work with a Registered Psychotherapist to understand what you're going through and build practical tools to manage it. People come to us for anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship strain, and life transitions, among many other reasons. It gives you a safe, non-judgmental space to talk openly, make sense of patterns, and move toward the changes you want. You don't need to be in crisis to benefit.

A strong fit matters, and it's completely okay if the first therapist isn't the right one for you. The therapeutic relationship is one of the strongest predictors of progress, so we take it seriously. Just let us know and we'll match you with another clinician on our team, with no awkwardness and no extra cost. Your comfort comes first.

Your first session is mostly about getting to know each other. Your therapist will ask what brought you in, a bit of your history, and what you're hoping for, and you're welcome to ask questions too. There's no pressure to share more than you're ready to. By the end you'll have a feel for how you'll work together and a plan for next steps. Sessions are available in person in Milton, Mississauga, and Burlington, or virtually across Ontario.

Many extended health benefit plans cover services from a Registered Psychotherapist, but coverage varies, so it's worth checking your policy for "Registered Psychotherapist" or "psychotherapy" and any annual limit. We offer direct billing with select insurers where available, and we provide receipts for reimbursement or tax purposes. If cost is a concern, reach out and we'll talk through your options.

It depends on your goals. Some people come for a few focused sessions on a specific issue, while others find ongoing support more valuable over time. Many clients start weekly or biweekly and adjust the pace as they progress. Your therapist will check in regularly so the plan always reflects what's working. You decide how long you continue.
